3. Rahni wants to buy a $230 cell phone. For 6 weeks, she earned $35 a week babysitting. How much more does she still need to earn?

4. Room 12 wants to donate $483 to a village in Myanmar.  The money will be used to dig a well and buy a pump to get clean water for the whole village.  If each student of the 28 students in the class donate the same amount, how much do they each need to donate to raise the $483?

5. Mum pays $568 on bills this week: $134.50 for power, $80.90 for the phone, $120.00 for rent and the rest on groceries. How much did she spend on groceries?

4. Fiona needs to prepare her dogs for the national dog show. It cost different amounts for the different breeds of dogs she will show. Her 3 Alaskan Malamutes cost $86.50 each; her 3 Golden Retrievers cost $74.80 each; her 2 Rottweilers cost $66.00 each plus the cost to get her Border Collie ready. The total bill was $700, how much was it to get her Border Collie ready?

5. Josh and his business partner has imported eight ballet costumes at $115.00 each. He has already sold 5 of them for $135 each. How many more must they sell at this price to cover his costs?
